Our school campus is a clean, well-landscaped and welcoming environment where students can enjoy their learning time away from home.

Guru Nanak Mission Public School is located on a campus along with Guru Nanak Mission Hospital, Guru Nanak College of Nursing and Guru Nanak Paramedical College.

However, the school itself is walled, gated and monitored by CCTV cameras. Security personnel monitor the area and guard the gates. Visitors must use a check-in, check-out system to enter or leave the premises.

Playgrounds

We believe children need a ‘dose’ of play during the day. This is often where friendships are solidified and physical boundaries are overcome.

Physical activity keeps children healthy. It provides a ‘mental break’ from academics. After play, students return to the classroom feeling refreshed and ready to begin a new task.

Our public school provides 1,672.25 sq. mt. of sports fields, courts and equipment for students to play games such as:

  • Basketball (using our 15×28 metre court)
  • Volleyball
  • Shot put

Pre-primary children play on separate playgrounds from elementary and secondary school students. Their playground includes a swing and slides. They are supervised during play.

Playgrounds are available to use during 20-minute lunch breaks daily.

Indoor activity rooms

Our indoor activity room is designed for early learners. In these rooms pre-primary children learn fine and gross motor skills such as jumping, balance, pushing and grasping. They learn through play in a safe, supervised environment.

Activity rooms include plush toys, push cars, grip bar, board games and more.

Health centre

The school maintains a fully equipped first aid room. A full-time nurse is available to attend to minor ailments at the school during school hours.

The school is located on the same grounds as Guru Nanak Mission Hospital. This provides quick access to advanced medical attention in case of emergencies.

The school contains 21 toilets for girls and 11 toilets for boys.

Special needs toilets are available on each floor of the building.
