Admission to Guru Nanak Mission Public School is open to all, irrespective of caste, creed, religion, class or any other immutable characteristic.
We offer education to children ages 2 to 18 years old. Our classes span from pre-nursery to 10+2 (i.e. “class XII” or, “grade 12”).
New students must register to attend our public school.
Existing students must be re-enrolled in our school every year.

Registration window
We accept registrations throughout the year. However, class entrance begins in January or February of each year.
Registration requirements for new students
Applicants must provide the following items to the school’s office in order to be admitted:
- A filled out application form
- A government-issued birth certificate of the student
- Transfer certificate or school leaving certificate from institution last attended by the student (if any)
- A character certificate issued by the head of the institution last attended by the student (if any)
- A copy of the student’s detail marks card (DMC) for any previous class attended
- A copy of the student’s Aadhaar Card
- A copy of the Aadhaar Cards of the student’s mother and father
- A photograph of the student
- Initial registration fee paid in full (monthly school fees will also be due on the 10th of each month)

Re-enrolment requirements for existing students
In order to be readmitted for the next school year, existing students must provide the following to the school’s office within 15 days of the declaration of annual results (date varies from year-to-year):
- A filled out re-enrolment form
Regular, monthly school fees will continue to apply for ongoing enrolment throughout the year. They will be due on the 10th of each month.

Age limits
We accept pupils for entrance into the following class groups, based on age:
Pre-nursery: 2+ years
Nursery: 3+ Years
Lower kindergarten: (LKG) 4+ Years
Upper kindergarten: (UKG) 5+ Years
Class I: 6+ Years
Class II: 7+ Years
Class III: 8 to 9 years
Class IV: 9 to 10 years
Class V: 10 to 11 years
Class VI: 11 to 12 years
Class VII: 12 to 13 years
Class VIII: 13 to 14 years
Class IX: 14+ years
Class X: 15+ years
Class XI: 16+ years
Class XII: 17+years
Withdrawal procedure
A school leaving certificate should be requested by parents with at least one month’s advance notice.
